The CA/B Forum, the regulator of the SSL certificates industry, has approved several changes associated with domain validation policy. The changes apply to all new certificates, as well as re-issues and renewals of old certificates. SSL/TLS certificates that have already been issued will continue to function (you do not need to change them).

From March 1, 2021, Sectigo will remove street address and postal code information from all public certificates. As noted by representatives of the certification authority, this information is not necessary for inclusion in certificates. The technical specifications do not require it. The change affects all public OV/EV SSL and OV/EV Code Signing certificates.
